From the Desk of Vikita-A word about sponsoring

Oak Grove is a nonprofit educational and residential treatment center serving 160 children, ages 5 to 18 on our Murrieta campus and another 50 students at our Perris location. Children come to Oak Grove with a variety of social, emotional, behavioral and academic problems, and many of the children have suffered physical or sexual abuse, neglect and serious family conflict. Oak Grove is committed to helping these children overcome their problems so they can become productive, responsible adults. We have found that as our at-risk youth experience the power of the Arts, amazing things can happen including healing, greater confidence and self-esteem, freedom in self-expression and positively connecting with others. Oak Grove Arts includes music, dance, performing, drumming, rock band, poetry, and visual arts. The generosity of individuals and groups that help sponsor this event makes these programs possible.

We are excited to announce that on September 25th and 26th Oak Grove will present the second annual Temecula Gospel Fest 09 at the Old Town Temecula Community Theatre and we need your support as a Sponsor. This event was created as a Benefit for the arts program at Oak Grove Center for Education Treatment and the Arts. This will bring our families and communities together by sharing in a joyous and momentous occasion-the celebration of Music inspired by the Gospel. This is quickly becoming a signature event for Temecula Valley and Southern California. As a sponsor you would be highlighted at 3 shows (total of 1500 people), a V.I.P Reception as well as having the opportunity to have a vendor table in the courtyard.

The primary purpose of this event is to raise funds for the Performing and Creative Arts Program at Oak Grove. Take this opportunity to support a great cause and highlight your business or company as a leader by supporting at-risk children, youth and the arts in our community. Your donation, sponsorship, or vendor table costs are tax deductible as Oak Grove is nonprofit charity. If you are able to commit early, you will have added exposure with your logo on print material, posters and media related publication as well as a link to your website from the Oak Grove website.

Oak Grove was nominated 2008 Charitable Organization of the year for the Temecula Valley Chamber of Commerce and 2009 Charitable Organization of the Year for the Murrieta Chamber of Commerce.
