Stacey Dove Daniels, Founder-Executive Producer

Executive Producer Stacey Dove Daniels has over 15 years of experience in the music-performing arts industry and 8 years working with at-risk and special needs youth. As a member of the Grammy Foundation, Dove was a recording artist with Island Records, worked on the Urban Renewal Project with Phil Collins and is a multi-platinum award winning songwriter-vocal arranger (Whitney Houston, Tamia, Montel Jordan). Dove was the founder of the Performing Arts Program at Oak Grove and continues to instill her passion for music and the arts into the students she works with. Currently, Dove works with students at Musicians Workshop and collaborates with Oak Grove on special projects.

Testimony of a Little Dove

On Liberty Street in Shreveport Louisiana my great-grandmother Sister Willie Elvester Glover had a church in her backyard. I was probably around 5 years old- I remember seeing ladies wearing all white with tambourines shouting and crying and praying. At the time my interested (keeping it real) was the Jackson five. I didn’t want to go to church – I wanted to be in the Jackson 5. So I was sit in church singin’ “ABC it’s easy as 123…”

Taught us to fear and love the lord but- mom didn’t over church us! My grandmother sister Oneida was a woman in the “word” who used to pinch me in church when I was loud or falling asleep! Rest her soul-I’d give anything for her pinch today!

We weren’t so heavenly bound that we no earthy good! We had a good balance of praise! Age 9 I moved from Los Angeles to Altadena California. We started attending New Revelation Baptist Church-Pastor William Turner and the entire Turner family reigned musically in that church!

There was something about that Church that I loved!

The music! It was no where near the Jackson 5 sound but this was the first time I Was touched in my spirit by music. The minister of music back then was Pastor Foxworth…his daughter Gwen was the Choir Director…Koda Turner

Pastor Turners daughter stepped to the mic…and belted out “I found Jesus…and I’m glad…my soul says “YES” My 9 year old heart started to flutter…my eyes began to water…I could not control my love for the holy spirit! I got baptized and received Christ that day!
I settled down in 1986 in San Diego with my husband Eric –who came to the lord at Mount Erie in San Diego – that was our Church home until moving to Temecula in 1998.

After spending 15 years in the Music business, I felt like I was 9 and getting to know the lord all over again! So I set out on a spiritual quest to find the right Church-we’ve all been there! So I searched and searched…then my husband Eric and I came across this young pastor in Temecula…who seemed to be talking about us every time we visited his Church, Mountain View! This is our home church. God’s work is being in the fields…and Mountain is heart! I dedicated this Festival to my church home…to my pastor and Church Family…I’m not always there…but I’m always with you! Dove
