History of GospelFest

Stacey Dove Daniels is not only the Founder of the Temecula Gospel Fest, she is credited with creating the Performing Arts Program at Oak Grove. Stacey’s love of Gospel began at the age of 9. She was attending church in L.A. and her Pastor’s daughter stepped to the mic…and belted out “I found Jesus…and I’m glad…my soul says “YES” . Stacey said: “My 9 year old heart started to flutter…my eyes began to water…I could not control my love for the holy spirit! I got baptized and received Christ that day! “. Her dream for a Festival that could sing the Good News of the Gospel with diverse styles and with people from all over Southern California percolated for many years, growing from a dream into reality with the inaugural festival Sept 08. We are looking forward to the Festival becoming a signature event for the Temecula Valley.

At Oak Grove, we believe in children and their ability to grow, heal, recover and rise above the challenges they face. The Mission of Oak Grove is to rebuild the lives of at-risk children and their families through educating, healing, restoring relationships, building character and instilling hope. We believe that the "work we do today builds a better tomorrow" and that this is accomplished through an outstanding school and therapy programs, a talented clinical team, and a dedicated staff that is committed to creating change in the lives of children. We believe in a strengths based approach, which means that we look to find what's "working" and to build on that as we work to restore relationships, teach improved coping skills and improve academics.
